The Volunteer Center is managed by the United Way of York County. This Program receives funding through the Human Services Development Fund (HSDF), a program administered by the York County Human Services Department.
Purpose:
The Volunteer Center provides recruitment, referral information, and programs designed to meet community needs. The Volunteer Center can link individuals and groups to volunteer opportunities.
The Volunteer Center organizes projects such as the Annual Day of Caring, Family Volunteer Day, and produces the “Wishes Book”, where social service agencies can list their volunteer needs and needs for material goods.
